The LEDs
The vast number of LEDs on board the Zeus 1000W Xtreme PPFD CO2 fixture are arranged to fill your entire growing area with a uniform spread of light, achieved by each being positioned directly above a particular spot and illuminating it. You get top quality diodes from Osram, Philips and Lumiled providing a full spectrum light source, which is ideal for both the vegetative growth and flowering stages! The low amount of heat given off might also surprise you but that comes as standard with LED technology nowadays!
The Fixture
This stunning fixture is quick and easy to assemble, featuring strong magnetic elements and a simple push click system that combine to create a very solid and durable structure. The slick modular design allows for individual bars to be removed and replaced when required, and you don’t even have to turn off the unit to carry out the changes – so your crop can still receive plenty of precious light!
The Driver
In the centre of the fixture is the intelligent and lightweight Lumatek LED Driver, responsible for reliably supplying power to the high performance LED bars. Thanks to smart power features within the driver, the unit can auto-adjust the output based on the number of bars in use to increase the overall efficiency! A dimmer switch also makes it possible to reduce light intensity from 100% to 75%, 50% or 25% for younger plants!
Controller Option
The Lumatek Zeus 1000W Xtreme PPFD CO2 LED Grow Light can be fully controlled with the Lumatek Digital Panel Plus 2.0, which manages up to 100 fixtures and features light timing, automated dimming (1% increments), temperature safety control and a sunrise and sunset mode.
Alternatively, there’s the option of hooking it up to any other controller that utilises a 0-10V output signal. Even if your device has an RJ port interface, you can still run the fixture by getting a signal converter RJ to 0-10V control adapter.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Supplementation
The use of CO2 with the Lumatek Zeus 1000W Xtreme PPFD CO2 LED Grow Light is not 100% necessary, but if you’re not introducing extra amounts of the growth gas, ensure that you have the headroom to establish a suitable distance between the fixture and your canopy.
