The Maxibright Daylight 315 CDM (Ceramic Discharge Metal-Halide) grow light gives out an intense full spectrum, high PAR light that is as close to natural sunlight as a digital HID grow light can produce.
This grow light is available with a choice of two lamps:
Maxibright Daylight 315w CDM Elite Grow – with the Philips MasterColour 942 CDM-TP MW bulb which is ideal for the growth phase.
Maxibright Daylight 315w CDM Bloom – with the Philips Master GreenPower 930 CDM-TP bulb which is ideal for the flowering phase.
*Both lamps are available individually – See Related Products below.
The Ballast, a Maxibright Daylight 315w has all the incredible features of the DigiLight range but additionally is designed to get the best out of the Philips 315w CDM lamp included in the kit. The ballast features Soft-Start technology to help avoid nuisance tripping on start-up, particularly if you have more than one of these units starting up at the same time. On top of that, the Daylight ballast includes end-of-lamp-life detection, dynamic frequency control, short-circuit detection, thermal protection and auto-reset. The unit runs silently and is reasonably light weight.
The Daylight reflector is the logical choice for growers looking for a quality closed-end reflector. The Daylight reflector is similar to the wildly popular Supernova reflector but specifically designed for CDM lamps. The Daylight reflector has a highly reflective dimpled surface in a double parabolic shape along with reflective closed-ends to reflect as much light as possible straight downwards towards your plants. The Daylight reflector is made with quality materials and the construction is excellent.
The full spectrum, natural light output of this grow light makes it comparable with many quality COB LED grow lights..but at a fraction of the cost!
Tip: A HID (HPS/Metal Halide/CDM) bulb will drop approx. 30% of its lumen output within 12-14 months of continuous use. We recommend replacing every 3-6months for optimum plant growth and yield output!
